The bond singer Ankit Tewari shares with Mohit Suri is quite well-known in the industry. And thanks to that, the singer-composer has already sent over 12 tracks to T-Series, which he has composed for the director's upcoming venture Hamari Adhuri Kahani, for approval and has decided not to charge for it. The title of the track is most likely to be Dil Darbadar. Ankit hit the jackpot with two of Mohit’s consecutive hits, Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain. The songs composed and sung by him became chartbusters, which encouraged him to associate with his mentors next, and that too, without a fee.
“The songs are already with the production team of T-Series, which is the music label for 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani'. And the producers and the label's head honchos will have a meeting towards the end of this month to shortlist about half-a-dozen ear-pleasers from the lot that Ankit has sent,” says a source close to the singer.
We tried contacting Ankit, but he didnt revert.
PS: Ankit, after lending his voice to younger actors like Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapoor in Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2, has sung a track for Aamir Khan in his ambitious venture PK, which is releasing on December 19. The track will be released next week.
